Domaine Pierre Teissonnière sits in the heart of the Costières de Nîmes appellation.
The diverse subsoils and soils, consisting of rolled pebbles, silt, and cailloutis, are distinctive of the AOP Costières de Nîmes's terroir, which gives complexity, balance, and freshness to the wines.
Our history
After a lifetime as a farmer, Pierre Teissonnière decided to acquire a 10-hectare farm in 1963. A wide variety of fruits, vegetables and livestock crops were grown on the farm. During their lifetime, vines were planted, and wine production became more and more important. 50 years later, the estate spans 80 hectares, of which 60 hectares are planted with vines.
